Born to Robert Thomas Nixon and Frances Amanda Andrews in Guadalupe County, Texas, Patrick Ireland Nixon (1883-1965) received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 1905 and his M.D. from Johns Hopkins University in 1909.
